Garmin Sponsors The World’s Premiere Gravel Grinder

This year, Garmin is proud to be the title sponsor for Dirty Kanza, the ultimate bicycling challenge held on the gravel and dirt roads through the Flint Hills of east-central Kansas. It’s rugged, remote and the perfect place for an epic challenge.

Garmin is committed to the sport of cycling and, as a leader in the sport, believes this epic race in our “backyard” is a perfect fit. Two of our pro cyclists, Yuri Hauswald and Rebecca Rusch, will also be competing in this event, making it that much more exciting.

Dirty Kanza requires good effort management from the rider, and with in-ride alerts for nutrition, hydration and performance condition, Garmin devices can help prevent a rider from hitting the wall.

By using Edge devices during Dirty Kanza, riders can rely on their bike computers to navigate the course, see the next turn and know that if they go off course the Edge will recalculate for them.

During the race, riders can share their locations with friends and family as they follow along.

If you’re at Dirty Kanza, be sure to stop by the Garmin booth to download the new Trailforks Connect IQ app to your Edge. Or click here to download the app today.
