Garmin Engineering Day Camp

Garmin is pleased to be hosting Garmin Engineering Day Camp July 15–19 at Garmin headquarters from 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m. each day. At the camp, incoming (2024–2025) high school freshmen and sophomore students will get hands-on electrical, mechanical and software engineering experience by working alongside their team members and Garmin professionals to build a rover. In addition to experiencing the engineering design process, students will gain valuable insight into the world of STEM opportunities. The goal of this camp is to provide an introduction to engineering for students who are interested in learning more but might not have had the opportunity to get prior exposure.

On the last day of camp, Friday, July 19, students will be able to show off their work to parents and guests during a special challenge competition. More details will be provided to program participants.

Interested students are requested to fill out an application for participation. Space is limited. Since it will be similar to past camps, students who have participated in past Garmin engineering day camps will not be considered again, in order to give other students an opportunity. Applications will close on Friday, April 26. Accepted applicants will be notified in early May.
