Popular Garmin marine products now available in new black color

Mariners can now choose black or white on select marine products to complement the color scheme of their boat

OLATHE, Kan./Feb. 13, 2024 – Garmin (NYSE: GRMN), the world’s most innovative and recognized marine electronics manufacturer, recently announced a new black color option for three popular marine products, adding to a growing list of Garmin devices to offer this alternative. The GMR Fantom open-array radars, MSCsatellite compass and Fusion® NRX300 Wired Remote now come in black – making it easier for boaters, anglers and cruisers to complement the color of their vessel.

Black or white – the choice is yours for the following Garmin products:

GMR Fantom Open-Array Radars

Using Garmin’s signature MotionScopetechnology to detect and highlight moving targets in different colors, the GMR Fantom open-array radars help users identify other vessels, find flocks of birds and track weather. Available with a 4- or 6-foot open array, these solid-state radars yield Garmin’s best combined short- and long-range target detection performance thanks to scan-to-scan averaging and improved MARPA with Automatic Acquisition. They provide serious boaters and anglers with improved target precision and more visibility of what lies ahead to further their situational awareness on the water.

MSC 10 Satellite Compass

Providing enhanced position accuracy through multi-band GPS (L1/L5), the MSC 10 satellite compass lets captains know exactly where they’re headed in all conditions. Easy to install, this GPS-based heading sensor boasts a fully integrated attitude and heading reference for more accurate information, even in rough seas, when taking sharp turns or completely still. And, because it uses satellite signals, the compass isn’t impacted by magnetic interference.

Fusion NRX300 Black Wired Remote

Enjoy audio from nearly anywhere on the boat with the Fusion NRX300 Black Wired Remote. Easy to install and use, the NRX300 can control up to four audio zones on board with localized volume control and global source selection, allowing users to customize their audio entertainment experience. It’s built on the Fusion True-Marine design philosophy, tested to resist salt fog, temperature, vibration and UV. When connected to an NMEA 2000 network, the remote can display data from compatible marine electronics, including wind data, depth, speed, heading position and more.

Garmin also provides multiple marine products in a black color scheme, including the GMR Fantom Dome radars, the GPS 24xd and GXM 54.

These products, along with the full range of Garmin marine electronics, will be on display at the Miami International Boat Show, Feb. 14-18, 2024, in booth #3235.
