Garmin Engineering Day Camp

Garmin is pleased to be hosting Garmin Engineering Day Camp July 13–16 at Garmin headquarters from 8:30 a.m.–2 p.m. each day. At the camp, incoming (2020–2021) high school freshmen and sophomore students will get hands-on electrical, mechanical and software engineering experience by working alongside Garmin professionals and their team members to build a race car. In addition to experiencing the engineering design process, students will gain valuable insight into the world of STEM opportunities. Interested students are requested to fill out an application for participation. Space is limited. Applications will close on Friday, May 1. Accepted applicants will be notified by Friday, May 15.

Registration is open to students who will be high school freshmen or sophomores in fall 2020 and are no younger than 13. Participants will be selected based on essay answers, GPA and teacher reference. The parent/legal guardian of participants who are selected will be asked to sign a participation release prior to the student’s attendance at the camp.

Any personal data entered on this form and submitted to Garmin will be used by Garmin solely to administer the Garmin Engineering Day Camp registration process.
