#RunChat is a weekly Q&A twitter chat all about running. It’s a community for runners of all levels to learn, get advice and build relationships with others. From beginners to experienced, and those in-between, all are welcome to share and participate! Founders David Hylton (@RunningBecause) and Scott Miles (@irunnerblog) created the @therunchat in 2010 and the account followed in early 2012, that started out as a simple hobby to chat all things fitness. The account grew into an entire running community and has nearly 33,000 followers.

A few recent topics include: how to avoid sitting for long periods of time during the day, how often to replace running shoes, how to treat foot and ankle problems, as well as upcoming races and running goals. #RunChat is held at 10 p.m. ET the first and third Sunday of each month and 8 p.m. ET on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.
