Garmin® Announces Partnership with Jonathan Adler; Introduces Line of vívofit® Accessory Bands

Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN), today
announced a partnership with renowned potter, designer and author
Jonathan Adler, introducing a collection of chic, pattern-printed
accessory bands for the company’s popular daily activity tracker vívofit
and the newly announced vívofit 2. By bringing the impeccable
craftsmanship and modern style of the designer’s lifestyle brand to the
vívofit family, the Jonathan Adler + Garmin line keeps users on trend
while they develop lifelong healthy habits.

Jonathan Adler + Garmin designs are being showcased with the
wide-ranging line of purpose-built Garmin wearables in the Garmin booth
(South Hall 4 #35811) at this year’s CES.

“Jonathan Adler + Garmin combines fashion with purpose-built wearables,
so users never have to choose between personal style and trusted
technology,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of worldwide sales.
“We’re very excited to partner with Jonathan Adler, who shares our
passion for innovation and commitment to enhancing people’s lives, to
bring his iconic designs to the vívofit family’s easily interchangeable
accessory bands.”

“Potters may not have a reputation for unbridled athleticism, but I
confess: I’m a fitness fanatic. As a designer, I was thrilled to work
with Garmin to add some of my favorite colors and patterns to the
vívofit and vívofit 2 accessory bands. As a gym-goer, I’m thrilled to
take my fitness to the next level with Garmin’s activity trackers,” said
Jonathan Adler.

Featuring several of Jonathan Adler’s signature patterns, the line will
have a variety of interchangeable designs available for vívofit 2 as
well as vívofit, helping users stay active no matter the occasion.
Designed to be worn 24/7, vívofit 2 features one-year battery life and
is water resistant1, so users rarely ever have to take it
off. In addition to a visual move bar on its always-on display, vívofit
2 features audible alerts that remind users when it’s time to get up and
move. It monitors progress all day long tracking steps, calories,
distance, sleep, and features a newly added backlight so users can
easily check their stats day or night. During a workout users can pair
vívofit 2 with a compatible heart rate monitor2 to track
heart rate and zone data, or use its stopwatch feature to record timed
activities with or without a heart rate monitor.

Throughout the day vívofit 2 automatically syncs with paired mobile
devices3 through the Garmin
Connect™ Mobile
app, so users can see a complete picture of daily
activities. In Garmin Connect, a free online fitness community, users
can track sleep patterns and trends, join online challenges and earn
virtual badges for extra motivation. For detailed calorie tracking users
can link their Garmin Connect account with MyFitnessPal® to compare
calories burned to consumed and see their net count for the remainder of
the day based on goals set in MyFitnessPal.

Shipping in Q1, Jonathan Adler + Garmin bands will be available bundled
with vívofit 2 for a suggested retail price of $139.99, and as
three-pack accessory bundles for vívofit 2 and vívofit for $39.99.

Jonathan Adler + Garmin and vívofit 2 are the latest from Garmin’s
expanding fitness segment, which focuses on developing technologies and
innovations to enhance users’ lives and promotes healthy and active
