Garmin® Signs on to Sponsor Gillett Evernham Motorsports Team in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series

Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRMN), today
announced that it will become an associate sponsor of the No. 19 Gillett
Evernham Motorsports team in the 2008 Sprint Cup series with driver
Elliott Sadler. Electronics retailer Best Buy is the car’s primary
sponsor. Garmin is partnering with Best Buy Racing for the second year
in a row.

“As Garmin continues to set the standard with innovative technology, it
seemed fitting once again to partner with Best Buy to sponsor an event
so heavily followed by Garmin users,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin’s vice
president of worldwide sales. “We’re excited to be on board with NASCAR
and the Best Buy team, and we are confident in the user connection that
this partnership brings.”

The No. 19 car will sport a prominent Garmin logo that will also be
found on driver and crew uniforms, and it will appear on other
supporting vehicles throughout the 2008 race season. During the season,
an interactive Garmin kiosk will be available in the Best Buy Fun Zone
Technology truck as it makes race day appearances. Garmin will serve as
the primary sponsor when NASCAR heads to Dover on June 1, 2008, and on
September 28, when drivers compete at Kansas Speedway.

“This partnership is a great opportunity for cross promotion of the Best
Buy and Garmin brands,” said Brad Morrill, senior manager, Best Buy
Motorsports. “The teaming of two big consumer electronics brands will
certainly give us a tremendous advantage in reaching our target
audiences. We’re looking forward to Elliott spending a great deal of
time in the winner’s circle this season.”

Garmin is the premier provider of GPS (Global Positioning System)
enabled devices and a leading designer and manufacturer of consumer
electronics. Recognized for ease of use for both pedestrian and in-car
service quality, user-friendly interface and a rich set of features,
Garmin’s nüvi® personal navigation devices are the standard by which
others are judged. Garmin also manufactures products for hikers,
hunters, boaters, runners, cyclists and pilots.

As an accomplished hunter, avid outdoorsman and a racing fan favorite,
Elliott Sadler is an ideal fit for this Garmin sponsorship. Reaching not
only the automotive market through his competitive racing, he also
relates to Garmin’s outdoor recreation enthusiasts. In stores, on
television and on the track, this partnership reinforces Garmin’s
leadership and vast array of products to the more than six million race
fans that attend the events each year and the nearly 75 million fans
watching from home.

“I am thrilled Garmin has joined our Best Buy Dodge. We think it is
going to be a pretty exciting year,” said Sadler. “I’m a gadget guy and
both of the companies keep me busy with all their cool stuff. I don’t
expect NASCAR will let me put a Garmin in our race car anytime soon, but
I will have one in my personal car.”

No stranger to victory lane, Sadler has had three Sprint Cup wins, 55
top-10 finishes and seven pole positions while in the driver’s seat. A
leading team in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series
and ARCA RE/MAX Series, the Gillett Evernham Motorsports team is known
for bringing technological innovation to its race program.
