The first ever – and fully booked – Garmin Health Summit is due to take place in a matter of weeks. On October 25–26 2018, Garmin, our partners and our customers will come together at the Spreespeicher in Berlin for two days of talks, panel discussions and workshops about digital health.
The event will kick-off with a keynote by Dr. Marc Teerlink, Global Vice President of SAP Leonardo. Marc will be providing valuable insight about market direction and future opportunities in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data monetisation.
Furthermore, the summit will include several views and examples about the role of wearables on health-driven businesses. What are the re-insurer SCOR or the Norwegian bank Sparebanken Sør up to? How is the “beat analyst” Firstbeat entering the healthcare sector, or how is medical research in Munich or Copenhagen utilising wearable technologies? How are the likes of the SAP involved? The two intensive days will be wrapped up by a panel discussion on how wearables and digital health apps are changing relationships for patients, customers, and workers.
In addition to presentations and networking opportunities, attendees can also benefit from a day-long Garmin Health Summit Lab where they can pitch their solutions to industry leaders.
