Garmin provides Navigation to Cobra RIBS

Garmin, the global leader in satellite navigation, is pleased to announce that it has been chosen by APV Marine Ltd to standard fit marine electronics to its COBRA RIB range.

Romsey-based APV Marine produces a large range of COBRA RIBS from 6.6m to 11.0m, as well as the popular 7.55m Sportsfisher RIB – renowned for its manoeuvrability and attention to detail, the Sportsfisher includes live bait wells, washdown pumps and rod holders.

Marine UK Sales Manager Dick Stanger, said: “Garmin is very proud to be providing navigation for COBRA RIBS. Garmin marine electronics offer the very best in functionality and quality, which compliments COBRA’s extensive range of RIBS.

COBRA is to fit Garmin’s flagship GPSMAP 5008 touchscreen chartplotters and will also offer a selection of other Garmin marine electronics for standard fit including the GPSMAP 4008 and 551 chartplotters, radar and VHF radios.
