Garmin Goes to METS 2008

MetslogoThe 18th to 20th of November saw over 16,000 visitors descend on the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) at the RAI in Amsterdam. Team Garmin has been in the centre of it all, showcasing the Garmin Marine family of products.

New to launch was the VHF 100i and 200i radios, the GPSMAP 620 – a handheld marine and automotive crossover product and new Bluechart cartography offerings – G2 and G2 Vision giving smoother chart transition and faster redraw, amongst many other attributes.

METS celebrated its 20th Year with the largest number of exhibitors in its history at 1,200 and offered trade specialists 48,000 sqm of exhibition space- as well as a rather tasty coffee bar four metres down from the Garmin stand.
