Team Garmin announce their Tour de France roster
The newly sponsored Team Garmin-Chipotle has announced the team roster for this year’s prestigious, and not to mention gruelling, Tour De France race.
Owned and managed by Slipstream Sports, Team Garmin-Chipotle is dedicated to promoting ethical sporting and developing the next generation of cycling champions.
Team Garmin will be competing in a full schedule of professional cycling races in the U.S. and Europe throughout 2008, and the riders that will be tackling one of the world’s toughest sporting events in the Tour de France are:
- Magnus Backstedt
- Julian Dean
- Will Frischkorn
- Ryder Hesjedal
- Trent Lowe
- Martijn Maaskant
- David Millar
- Danny Pate
- Christian Vande Velde
The tour squad will unveil the team kit and other visuals at 1pm on the third of July in the press room at Penfeld Parc des Expositions de Brest, in Brest, France.
