It’s Millar-time!

David Millar dominated the Edinburgh Nocturne to take the title in his country of birth.

Millar, who only seven days ago was taking on the Giro d'Italia, worked hard with team mate Cameron Meyer to push out in front and make a real impact on the peloton after only 10 laps out of the full 26.

Working further on his lead and pushing hard, Millar finally broke free of his team mate with four laps to go giving him a full ten seconds on Meyer and a well deserved win.

There's little time for David to rest on his laurels though as preparation for the Tour de France begins in earnest this week- David will be getting out his Edge 705 and concentrating on his rides. Watch out for Millar in the upcoming tour, we've got a feeling in our water that he's one to keep an eye on…

Congratulations David!
