Sat nav donation to Crisis

Garmin has donated products to the homeless charity, Crisis, to help drivers take those in need to temporary accommodation in London and Newcastle.

It is comes after the Group Retail Director of DSG International, Keith Jones volunteered for the charity over Christmas. He saw the incredible challenge faced by drivers who didn’t know their way around the different areas of London very well yet still had to find the Crisis centres quickly in order to secure places. Keith immediately thought that the Garmin nūvi sat navs sold in his stores would be ideal and asked for help.

Now Garmin has now delivered a nūvi 205 to each of Crisis’s Skylight Centres in London and Newcastle and to the Crisis Warehouse for use when setting up temporary centres for homeless and vulnerably-housed people.
