Garmin’s free trip-planning software BaseCamp™ has just got better. You can now download a topographic background map for Great Britain or EIRE to help you enhance your viewing and prepare for your trip more easily.

The background maps will provide a useful backdrop to help you identify your preferred download region when using BirdsEye Select. A single purchase from Garmin’s BirdsEye Select service allows you to choose up to 600 sq km of coverage– ideal for any outdoor activity.

You’ll need to register your device via myGarmin – either before or during the purchase process. Simply go to www.garmin.com/uk/maps/trip-planning-software/birdseye to find out more. Click on the ‘How It Works’ tab and follow the instructions to install a background map for Great Britain or Eire onto BaseCamp™.
