Garmin sponsored Middlesbrough FC sign new defender from France

Middlesbrough FC of the English Premier League have made their second high profile summer signing.  The arrival of French defender Didier Digard for £4 million comes shortly after the purchase of Dutch striker Emnes earlier in the month.

At just 21 years old, big things are expected from Didier as he has represented France at international youth level.  He arrives from French side Paris St-Germain.  Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate was quoted as saying "As with Emnes, he is another exciting, young talent who fits the profile of hungry, ambitious players that we want here".
