Movistar Team

Professional Cycling Team

Formed in 1980, Movistar is the oldest professional cycling team in the world. With more than 35 years and 855 victories, they’re not only the oldest, they’re one of the best. This Spain-based team has achieved many notable distinctions befitting a world-class team made of world-class cyclists. At the 2015 Tour de France, they finished first in the team classification with the 2 top riders of the team, Nairo Quintana and Alejandro Valverde, finishing second and third, respectively, in the general classification. They followed that in 2016 with another first-place team finish at the Tour de France and yet another podium for Nairo, who finished third overall.
