Ben Collins

Professional Triathlete

In 2005, Ben graduated from Columbia University, where he was captain of the swim team, Academic All-Ivy League and an Ivy League champion in the Individual Medley. He then moved to Honolulu and worked for a small engineering firm, designing autonomous underwater vehicles. Though he originally began racing triathlons as a hobby, Ben was quickly pulled into the multisport lifestyle. He went pro in 2008 and soon found success, eventually as a member of the USA Triathlon National Team from 2010–2012.

Forerunner® 935

“Garmin tech keeps getting smarter and smarter. The fact that the Forerunner 935 can use my training and VO2 max data over time to know if I’m under- or over-training is kinda mind‑blowing.”
