By simply connecting your device to your computer using a USB cable, you can access myGarmin with 1 click and see a dashboard view of your available software downloads, map updates and other important information.

myDashboard is a section of myGarmin that you can access without signing in to your account. It gives you an overall view of the device that is connected to your computer. Check for map updates, software updates, register your device and get device-specific support all from 1 page.

For quick access to myDashboard, you can download the myGarmin Agent to your computer and get there with 1 click whenever you connect your device.

The myGarmin Agent automatically detects when a Garmin device is connected to your computer. You will see an alert in the lower right corner of your screen above the myGarmin Agent icon in your system tray.

Clicking the alert will take you to myDashboard. You can also access it at any time by double-clicking the icon in your system tray (lower right corner of your computer screen).
