Voice Studio Booth

With Garmin Voice Studio, anyone can customize their nüvi with voice directions from family and friends. Once finished, you’ll be ready to go with custom voices on your compatible device! It’s fun, it’s easy, and it’s a great way to add a bit of personality to your device!

Valet Parking

Customers driving to the Garmin Store are welcome to an $8 special at the valet across Erie outside T.G.I. Fridays. With a Garmin stamp on your ticket, you get 2 hours of time. Please note the valet is not open until 11 a.m.

Trade-in

Only at the Garmin Chicago Store can you trade-in your old favorite Garmin device for credit toward a new device purchase.

The exclusive Garmin Chicago Store trade-in program enables you to trade-in select automotive and fitness units for credit toward a new device purchase. If you're thinking about an upgrade, you can trade-in your old device and we'll ensure it's recycled properly. Flight Simulator (Frasca)

If you are a pilot interested in Garmin's G1000® Glass Cockpit Suite presented on the Frasca Simulator, you may sign-up for a 1 hour, personalized introduction. Please select, "G1000 Tutorial" once you click the "Book Now" button. You will be asked to enter your pilot's certificate. This is a 1 hour introduction to the G1000 capabilities and not time that can be logged. The tutorial is free.

Software Update & Diagnostics

$19.95
Firmware updates are free to Garmin customers and will fix the majority of software issues. Customers are welcome to use the Software Update stations at no charge. A Garmin product expert will handle the entire process for $19.95.

If your unit requires attention outside of a software update, it will be set-up for repair.

Map Update Installation

$19.95
Customers may purchase either a $50 onetime map update or $90 lifetime map update subscription, which can be completed from a home computer. nüMap Guarantee updates are free to customers who register their unit within 60 days of satellite acquisition.

A Garmin product expert will install map updates for $19.95.

Shipping to Product Support

$11
Garmin Chicago will handle the shipment of your unit to the product support office for $11. Customers are welcome to ship units themselves. Expedited shipment is available upon request.

Lifetime Service Pass

$46.95*
The Lifetime Service Pass includes lifetime diagnostic support including software updates and map installations. A 1 hour, one-on-one GPS Academy session also is included.

*If you purchase a Lifetime Service Pass (sold separately), you will receive unlimited software and map update services from the Garmin Chicago store, when and as such updates are made available on Garmin’s website, for one (1) compatible Garmin product until your product’s useful life expires or Garmin no longer receives map data from its third party supplier or Garmin no longer offers repair services, whichever is shorter. The Lifetime Service Pass may not be transferred to another person or another Garmin product.
