Procedure for non-Aviation out of warranty returns

Garmin retains the exclusive right to either repair or replace the unit with a "newly-overhauled" (NOH) unit or new unit at its sole discretion. The same policy shall apply to software. The following procedure is for non-Aviation out of warranty returns only. To obtain warranty service for a Garmin Aviation device, please see the instructions further down this page.

Please complete these two easy steps:

Step One

Contact Garmin Product Support to receive an RMA number and arrange payment

United Kingdom

For all of United Kingdom users and customers in unlisted countries in Europe, Africa and Middle East

Call or e-mail a Garmin Product Support to describe the problem and request a return material authorization (RMA) number. You will need to provide the unit's serial number (if applicable), your return shipping address, a daytime phone number and an email address.

Step Two

Ship the unit, along with your RMA number to Garmin Europe Ltd.

Once you have received your RMA number, ship the unit using registered post or similar (your Garmin product is your responsibility until we receive it), writing the RMA number on the outside of the packaging and in the covering letter, to the following address:

Procedure for Aviation out of warranty returns

The following procedure is for Aviation out of warranty returns only. To obtain warranty service for a non-Aviation device, please see the instructions at the top of this page.

Please complete these two easy steps:

Step One

Contact Garmin Technical Support to receive an RMA number.

***Aviation Panel Mount or Aviation Remote Mount products require an authorized person to return the aircraft system to service after product repair. Please arrange RMA's through your preferred Authorized Garmin Aviation Service Center.***

Call or email Garmin Technical Support to describe the problem you are experiencing and ask for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Request form. Please complete the RMA request form and return it to the specified address on the form; you will then be contacted and provided with a RMA number along with return instructions.
