If you have problems pairing your Garmin device, try the following:
Forerunner 50: To enable pairing, follow these steps:
- Press MODE to the Train page.
- Press and hold Start/Stop for Settings.
- Press the View button until the display reads "Tx Pair".
- Verify "TX Pair" is ON.
Forerunner 405: To enable pairing, follow these steps:
- Press and hold Menu.
- Scroll and select Settings.
- Scroll and select ANT + Sport.
- Scroll and select Computer.
- Verify Pairing is On.
If you transfer data to your computer, the Garmin ANT Agent will not detect the device again until it has new data (or the Garmin ANT Agent has pending data to send to the device.)
If you transfer data to one computer, you cannot transfer it to a second computer unless you add new data or "force send" data. The second computer will not detect the device until it has new data or detects the device has "force send" set.
If you have problems transferring data, try the following:
To enable a Force Send, follow these steps:
- Press and hold menu on the bezel to enter the Main menu.
- Scroll and select Settings.
- Scroll and select ANT+Sport.
- Scroll and select Computer.
- Scroll and select Force Send.
- Turn "Force Send" ON.
