Product Recycling Concept
In an effort to contribute to the establishment of a recycling based society, Garmin promotes the 3Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle). Recycling products saves resources and reduces waste.
Product Recycling Worldwide
Garmin recognizes the urgent need for recycling and our need to minimize the environmental impact of our products. Accordingly, Garmin has either established or is considering the establishment of recycling systems in Japan, Europe, the United States, China and elsewhere around the world.
Garmin welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the protection of human health and the environmentally sound recovery and disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. To that end, Garmin aims to comply with Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) (the “WEEE Directive”). Click here for further information on the WEEE Directive. In addition, Garmin holds regular environmental meetings and monitors recycling trends to stay current with recycling needs and to ensure compliance in other countries in which we do business.
